Into the Woods

Last night I took the family to Into the Woods. We all really enjoyed it. The talent that we have in this area is so amazing. I am so glad that we went and that the kids are getting more exposure to theater.

The kids love the Dippin' Dots that they serve at the theater.
Emma and Rapunzel
The kids and the witch. This is Irene's niece. She was phenomenal. She was also the lead in the King and I that we saw at the Scera Shell last summer. It was very crowded around her. I wish I could have gotten back further so you could see more of her costume. Her dress was really beautiful.
There was an accident on stage the night before and Little Red had gotten very hurt. Her foot had gotten caught in a hole on the stage and the large tree that rotates rotated over her foot. Jennifer had called me and told me about the accident. They had to call 911 and replace her with someone from the stage crew. Last night she did her part in a wheel chair. She was still great and everyone in the cast adapted very well. If we didn't know what had happened we might not even realized that she wasn't suppose to be in the chair.

Into the Woods is a great show. It's one of the soundtracks that I own and my dd loves it too.
