LeAvEs, LeAvEs & MoRe LeAvEs

This is, by far, the most leaves we have ever had. It is CRAZY!
I wanted to take pictures of the kids playing in the leaves but by the time we were done with piano and stuff it was getting dark. Emma and Andrew went out and started raking and playing. A while later I went out, camera in hand, not expecting much. When I got outside I realized they had gone to play next door. Emma came home first and I told her to jump in the leaves and play around like she is having a ton of fun.
She is such an obedient, wonderful, child.
Then the other kids came over and started raking to make a huge pile. Their pile is made from just the green spots you see. The rest of the yard is still COVERED!
Then they took turns jumping into it and burying each other.
Then a leaf war broke out.

And when they were done you could hardly tell that anyone had raked a thing. I think this was the end of their fun since it rained all night last night.

I love that you took the pictures in the dark! Fun fun fun!

We finally got all our leaves raked up...looks like the trees are finally bare. What a lot of work! For the last 6 years we have lived in either PHoenix or in a new subdivision in Utah where we had one baby little tree--no raking needed.

I had no idea what a huge job it actually is!
