Day 2

Today I did some of what I do best. I shopped and ate.

This morning we started out by walking along the beach. It was very windy and the water was choppy. At the end of our walk we reached Black Rock. There the water was a lot calmer and people were actually snorkeling. We plan to give it a try sometime soon, maybe even tomorrow morning.

After we walked back to our hotel we went out for a drive. We went to Kapalua and Honolua. We continued driving and saw some amazing sights.

We went back to Honolua for lunch and then went to Front St. in Lahaina for some shopping. We got a few souvenirs for the kids and me and enjoyed Hawaiian shaved ice.

We also saw the Banyan Tree.

Just me being goofy.

The weather today was not what we were expecting. It was almost chilly. The wind was very cool. We also got a little tiny bit of rain. We are hoping that there is less wind and fewer clouds tomorrow.

We decided to hit the pool but once we got down there we realized it was too cold. We walked along the beach and in the water up to our knees looking for shells and coral. We then went to dinner on the beach at Hula’s Barefoot Bar where Paul shocked me and ordered fish tacos!

It was really good. I got lettuce wraps that were good but I preferred his taco.

I was way cold tonight so we came back to the room and we are ready to go to sleep. It was a long day on not much sleep.
