Hey babies. We're thinking about you!
We got up really early today and walked on the beach. We took our snorkel gear just in case. We decided to go for it even though it was windy and cool. I did it! I snorkeled and dang it I'm good at it. I love being in water. I can now say that I swam in the Pacific Ocean. I had never gone in over my waist before.
We saw some pretty fish and had a great time. I was done and we were just about ready to leave when the sun came out. Paul asked if we could do round two.
I am soooo glad we did. Look what we saw!
This is a dream come true for me. The one thing I wanted to see while in Hawaii was a sea turtle. I even touched it. Shhh don't tell anyone. We read on a sign after we got out that you shouldn't do that. Yes that is me by the turtle! How cool is that?
We finished up and walked back up the beach and then relaxed by the pool drinking piña colada. We did all this before 11:00 am.

How can you grow up in California and say you've never swam in the Pacific?
